Winter is here and the cold days are upon us. It's the best time to get a cup of tea and start working on all the paintings that I've had in my head and transfer them to paper or canvas. I recently travelled to Scotland and with that in mind I hope to create some new works of my visit there.
I spend a great deal of time thinking about something that I want to paint long before i actually sit and put it down on paper or canvas. It is the work of the piece. Thinking and working out the problems or kinks of any painting. That done, you can get on with painting. Everyones process is different for me this works. And as the saying goes "I am too old to change now" , so this is how it is.
